Dr. Rhian Young, ND, BCIM
Owner of Purity Integrative Health
Dr. Young is Board Certified in Integrative Medicine and has over 10 years’ experience with BioIdentical Hormones, Cardiovascular disease treatment & prevention, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Weight Loss, Digestive Disorders, Menopause and assisting cancer patients optimize treatments by integrating natural foods and supplements to reduce side effects of treatment and help with the healing process. Dr. Young received her Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience and Anatomy. She then attended Bastyr University. Following graduation, she participated in a Residency at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma during which she was able to see first-hand how integrative medicine works to bring optimum health and healing to the patient. Following her residency, she moved back to the Seattle area and began working in an integrative setting treating patients from all over the world with issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, chemical dependency and other addictions.
In January 2008, Dr. Young started Purity Integrative Health & Wellness Center with a hope of using her experiences to treat a wide variety of issues and facilitate trust and confidence to people who need help and are eager to change to make improvements to their life.
Dr. Young is an avid runner and devotes most of her free time to training for half marathons with her husband and spending time with her four children and their three dogs while enjoying the beauty of the Northwest.
Dr. Young and her family attend Gold Creek Community Church in Mill Creek. She considers God and integral part of her life both personally & professionally.
Dr. Sue Yang-Eng, DAOM, LAc
Dr. Yang-Eng has over twelve years of professional experience in the field of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her post graduate training includes three months of Chinese herb externship in Chengdu and Shanghai, China; six months of acupuncture practice at three hospitals in Shanghai; and two years of residency at Bastyr University. Dr. Yang-Eng received her degrees in Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2000 and Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in 2009. She is licensed in Washington State and is nationally board certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Prior to being a full-time practitioner, Dr. Yang-Eng was an academic professor and a clinical supervisor atBastyrUniversityfor seven years. During this time, she also earned a book publishing credit as a co-author of Chinese Herbal Medicine: Modern Applications of Traditional Formulas and held position as an Adjunct Medical Staff at Madison Clinic atHarborviewMedicalCenter. In late 2011, Dr. Yang-Eng redirected her focus to pursue her dream of influencing the lives of patients by directly helping those in need. She joined Purity Integrative Health because she believes her skills and knowledge will add to the collaborative approach the clinic envisions for those seeking complementary healthcare.
Just as important as treating individuals of their ailments, Dr. Yang-Eng understands the responsibility placed on healthcare practitioners and recognizes that everyone has their own, unique background to tell. Her treatment philosophy involves listening with compassion, educating patients to better understand what factors led to their condition(s) and providing helpful suggestions for lifestyle modification.
In her free time, Dr. Yang-Eng enjoys tea parties with her two young daughters, teaching them Mandarin, and watching The Food Network.
Dr. Chelsea Gordon, ND
Naturopathic Medicine Associate
Dr. Chelsea Gordon completed her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree at Bastyr University. During her studies at Bastyr, Dr. Gordon focused her clinical experience in women’s health and pediatrics. She furthered her education by completing additional coursework in advanced pediatrics, childbirth education, infant and maternal nutrition, botanical medicine and neonatology. After graduation, Dr. Gordon continued her training with a pediatric focused residency in Carnation, WA. Prior to medical school, she received her Bachelor of Science in Health Psychology and Human Biology with an emphasis in nutrition.
As a primary care provider, she combines her knowledge and experience with both conventional and naturopathic medicine to offer an integrative approach to treatment. It is her belief that if the foundations of health are established in infancy and childhood, children can be set up for lifelong wellness.
Dr. Gordon is a preferred provider with most major insurance companies and is accepting new patients. Services include primary care, acute illness visit, well child exams, vaccine counseling, natural family planning, lactation counseling and well woman annual exams.
Dr. Gordon is a professional member of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians and The Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, reading, gardening and cooking.
Megan Elaine Sewell, LAc
Megan Sewell completed her Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Bastyr University. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Washington and is a Nationally Certified Diplomate of the NCCAOM. Megan has achieved her Craniosacral Therapy Certificate and currently assists classes for personal development and leadership.
At Purity Integrative Health Megan brings her many gifts and talents to her patients in a beautiful and graceful way. She uses a traditional Chinese diagnosis to explain your symptoms and she enjoys listening to the body through gentle touch, massage, and pulse diagnosis. Her treatments consist of acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, massage, acupressure and craniosacral therapy to treat physical and emotional pain. Treatments should always encourage the body’s vitality to increase immunity and stimulate innate healing abilities. She believes the body tells her how to treat and as long as we follow the body we ease the signs and symptoms of disease, and return to a state of wellness.

Dr. Alexandria St. Claire, ND
Naturopathic Medicine Associate
Dr. Alexandria St. Claire graduated from Bastyr University with a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine. At Bastyr, Dr. St. Claire gained a great deal of clinical experience in Women’s Health, Pediatrics and chronic illnesses such as Mental Health Disorders, Digestive Disorders, Dermatology, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease and Autoimmune Disorders. Dr. St. Claire offers pediatric services such as vaccine administration & counseling, Well-Child exams, Newborn screening as well as acute visit for when your children are ill. She is a primary care provider who aims to find and treat the true cause of illness as well as to work with patients in their pursuit of optimal health by creating a collaborative and safe environment.
In her free -time, Dr. St. Claire enjoys creating new & allergy-friendly recipes, running and walking Greenlake with her husband & daughter.
Dr. Sarah Lukhang Klippel
Naturopathic Medicine Associate
Dr. Sarah Lukhang Klippel is a primary care physician with a clinical focus in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. A Seattle native, she completed her Bachelor’s degree at The Evergreen State College with a concentration in Neurobiology. From there, she attended Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Contemplative Religious Studies. Dr. Klippel graduated from Bastyr University with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. While at Bastyr, she completed advanced training in pediatrics, botanical medicine, counseling, craniosacral therapy, clinical biofeedback, and homeopathic therapeutics. She has attended rotations at Seattle Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center, Evergreen Hospital, and Neighborcare’s Teen Health Clinic located at West Seattle High School. After graduation, she continued her training in a two-year, pediatric focused residency in Kirkland, WA.
Dr. Klippel believes the journey to health is accomplished through collaboration between patient and practitioner and looks forward to working with each of her patients on their unique path. Services include well child exams, vaccine counseling, primary care visits, craniosacral therapy, and acute care. She is currently accepting new patients.
When not at Purity, Dr. Klippel teaches at Bastyr Univeristy in the School of Naturopathic Medicine. She resides in the Seattle area with her wonderful husband and son. In her downtime she enjoys sewing, cheering on the Sounders, exploring the Seattle food scene, and checking out the latest fashion blogs.
